Overview

The famous Hard Rock guitar lights up the entrance to this hotel. True to many of the hotels on the Strip, there are many onsite restaurants. Nine eateries, coffee shops and bistros include Starbucks, the Pink Taco and Johnny Smalls. To work up an appetite head to the Beach Club — one of the top-rated pools in Vegas. There are also a bunch of shops in the hotel complex. Families may want to catch one of the live shows, typically featuring popular musicians.

Guests can stay in the Paradise or Casino towers, or in a suite at the HRH All-Suite Tower. Depending on the building, rooms may be decorated in a chic, updated style or with wild prints that embody the Rock Star mentality. No matter where you stay, rooms and suites are spacious with modern amenities and comfy bedding, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of Sin City.

I will miss the Hard Rock Hotel

by 796robertd

Recently stayed at the HRH during the SEMA show. This is my hotel of choice. Not on the Strip but close enough to it go avoid the traffic jams of the Strip. The energy in the hotel is great. The rooms are spacious and close to the casino. I do miss the mini-bar in the room. The dealers are the BEST! Friendly and they really help you play if you need the help. Overall, the 1st place I chose to when visiting LV. I will be sorry to see it go!!! Hopefully, I will visit once before the closure! Hoping!!!!

Not bad, but not the best.

I spent one night at the Hard Rock while attending a work meeting down the street. I arrived before check-in time and hoped to check-in early. They could not accommodate the request which is not their fault, but they said they would text when a room was ready and they never did. The check-in line was long and slow both times I had to wait in it. Like most Vegas hotels, you cannot go anywhere without going through the casino which is quite smoky. The pool area was very nice, but since it was November, it was mostly closed and the one entrance to the outdoor space was quite a long walk (through the casino). The small portion of the pool that was open closed at 6pm. While the common spaces didn't thrill me, the room was actually quite nice. I was given a room on the top floor (the 18th) with a nice view. The room was a good size for a standard room and well appointed. The free internet was fast enough to play netflix without delay. The TV was fine but relatively small and didn't have built-in streaming. It would have been nice to have more power outlets at the bedside and there were no USB power plug-ins. I had breakfast at Mr Lucky's in the lobby and it was quite good. I walked to the strip which was a bit of a hike. This casino is not on the strip and you are better off taking an Uber. This was a fine hotel and casino, but I would rather stay on the strip if given the choice.
