The prettiest place to dine in Hershey is the Circular Dining Room. It's open and airy with wonderful views of the grounds. This dining room is situated atop a hill, so there is a lot of greenery outside. The Circular Dining Room is open for breakfast and dinner daily, lunch from Monday through Saturday, and they have a Sunday brunch. We were disappointed with the Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch, which came to about $45 for the three of us. The selection was good but the food on the buffet wasn't hot enough or particularly special. For Sunday brunch and dinner, dress is casual but denim and sneakers are not permitted. The food is kid-friendly.

One of the best meals we had during our stay in Hershey was breakfast at Lebbie Lebkicher's in The Lodge's main lobby. Here you can pay more for the breakfast buffet, but it's and less-expensive wiser to order off the menu. The portions are large, and more importantly, the food here is good. The restaurant serves only breakfast, and has a children's menu for kids 8 years old and under.

Another good choice at Hershey Hotel for casual dining and kids' meals, sandwiches, and burgers is The Bears' Den. The walls in The Bears' Den are covered with flat-screen televisions tuned to various sports channels. During out visit, the sound was turned off, and the noise level was low.

The Cocoa Beanery at Hershey Lodge has specialty coffees, teas, hot chocolate, and an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels, pastries and sweets. Prices are comparable to a local Starbucks or upscale coffee shop and they have free Wi-Fi.

An outstanding restaurant at Hershey Hotel is The Fountain, which serves lunch and dinner daily. The Fountain has a lot of grilled seafood and steaks. Guests can sit outside on the veranda and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and listen to a jazz band in the evening. If you want to sit on the veranda, you will need a reservation. This outdoor area books up fast.
