Great location, showing a little wear

by fallstarfarseer49

Steps from the French Quarter in the CBD. Great restaurants and entertainment an easy walk in any direction. Unfortunately it's starting to show a little age in general upkeep. Had some issues with elevators as well while I was there and someone having a little too much of a loud time which is clearly not the hotel's fault and they handled it correctly. Really tough to tell on their app that they have what amount to interior rooms which I accidentally stuck myself in! Just be aware of that! Overall, not bad, and wouldn't be opposed to staying again by any means

Cheap and you get what you pay for

The hotel is located outside of the Quarter, meaning you have to cross Canal Street to get to where you really want to be. It might be that this location is considered part of the FQ, but it really is not. The room was inexpensive and you get what you pay for. Loud ventilation system, poorly maintained room, food not cleaned out of the refrigerator from the previous guests. But the people are very nice at the front desk and the room rate is reasonable.
