Terrible Service - jaw-dropping bad

by davpoi

Summary:
* Rooms nice and clean
* Restaurant service - the worst
* Front desk staff - friendly and helpful
* Parking - no valet service; parking garage is the most confusing ever. Signs mislead you.

Stayed here 3 nights. I travel a LOT for work at stay at Hilton properties regularly. I realize that people and things are never perfect. But I was amazed at how BAD the service is. Seriously. Nothing was organized and the staff apparently are either untrained or lazy.

My first night here I was hungry went the hotel’s restaurant where I was met with a sign that read, “Please wait time be seated” - that took 20 minutes and the tables were empty but the bar was full.
After getting my table (I was alone) I sat there for 25 minutes trying to get a server to take my order - that didn’t work so I left.

At breakfast this morning, I had to ask for a cup of coffee 3 times and there were only 2 people in e restaurant. There were 6 workers there talking and insulting each other while 80% of the tables were dirty.
I had to ask for silverware twice and a napkin and when my silverware arrived, it was accompanied by a wet cocktail napkin. Really?

I saw a nicely dressed man (presumably the manager) hustling around while others watched him and complained. I witnessed him “coaching” one of the restaurant employees in a very nice way, and when he walked away she walked by my table complaining about him.

Recommendation: Motivate your restaurant service staff or replace them. Your Manager seems super motivated but he’s getting little support.

Very Dissapointed

I would expect more from a Hilton hotel. Couldn't get into my room upon arrival and had to ask the front desk for help. Light bulb out in bathroom and no additional toilet paper in the room especially due to the fact that they did not give full rolls to begin with.
