About Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa
In the past couple of years, this beachfront resort underwent major renovations that included guest rooms, the pool areas and restaurants. All guest rooms have private balconies from which to enjoy the ocean views, and the resort also has two outdoor pools -- one for grown-ups and one for kids. Onsite, you'll be able to rent fat-tire bikes for beach riding, kayaks and beach chairs (although the chairs can be pricey). Amenities include a full service spa and complimentary shuttle service (from early April through September) within the 2,000-acre Palmetto Dunes resort community to shops and Shelter Cove. For golfers, the location next to a Robert Trent Jones golf course can't be beat. Children's club activities are offered Wednesday through Saturday for children from ages 3 to 5 and ages 5 to 12. Kids will also love the real sand castle in the lobby.
