Last night of a great trip and we finish it off in style

by Dumos

Not unlike Montreal, Quebec city seems to be a full construction zone, at least where the hotel is situated and where the 'adjoining' parking is located. The hotel was bustling with tourist. The Queen Mary II was in town. We were, however, quickly processed and proceeded to a beautifully appointed room on the 12th floor, overlooking the old quarter and the waterfront. What a beauty.
Here, not unlike the Hampton Hotels, the beds are fantastic, and the other amenities are also well appointed. After a quiet dinner in Old Quebec, we departed the next morning, not having partaken in their $25.00 pp all you can eat breakfast, but rather hoping to find a more sedate and economically palatable breakfast menu and fare.
That was the only negative of our Hilton stay

Great Views

Stayed recently on the 22nd floor and had access to the Executive Lounge and it was great. Room was compact and needed a little updating especially the bathroom but quite serviceable. The lounge was great for panoramic views of the old city and the river and served a good breakfast. Also had great hors d'oevres from 5-7 that replaced dinner for us as we had a big lunch. Adele was delightful as the consierge on duty and very friendly and helpful. Hotel itself was just on the edge of the old city and the D'Youville bus terminal so great for getting around.
