Reviews

Excellent room. Excellent stay. Don't be put off by the elevators!!

by NearRadwell

I picked this location for convenience and because I collect Holiday Inn points. I had an excellent stay.

The hotel building is older but I stayed in a freshly renovated room which was very clean and comfortable. It was very nice and I got a good night's sleep with no noise from other guests.

The hotel elevators look rough. What should be polished copper walls has seen better days. But don't let this put you off.

I had to buy a few things and was able to easily walk to a Walmart which was about 7 minutes away. I tried the Applebees next door to the hotel for dinner and was disappointed. I'll write up a review of the Applebees restaurant separately - I would avoid eating there.

The free breakfast at the hotel was the usual Holiday Inn Express standard which I enjoyed.

Hotel staff were super helpful with directions.

I would stay at this hotel again.

Good location for airport

by Julestwo

Honestly, I did not love the location. Little sketchy in Albuquerque. The hotel is being renovated so there was construction material laying about, but not really a problem. Our room was big, but I could not tell if it had already been updated. The hair dryer has been taken off the wall still attached to the mount and that is what I got to use.The bathroom was clean, although I don’t love the combination where the sink and mirror is on outside and toilet and shower are enclosed, especially if you have children. We had an early flight out and no breakfast service so early in morning. In my opinion, when you are six miles out from the airport, it might be nice to provide a grab and go for the airline customers you hope to attract.
