My three small daughters, ages 3, 4, and 7, had to pick up my sister at the airport to take her three hours to stay at my mothers house in Lock Haven PA, for an emergency hysterectomy, and I decided to make it a vacation for the four of us. I took more +them out of school and booked a hotel at Dulles airport. We chose this hotel because they had an indoor pool and gameroom for the kids. We drove to Washington, went to the National Zoo, and then saw some sights. I had also booked this same hotel for when we returned from Lock Haven, PA to return my sister to the airport to head back to vegas. On both stays, I had requested a microwave, so that I would not have to go out by myself to dinner with three little girls. They never brought it the first night until after 6:30. By this time we had already gone to the restaurant to eat because we were hungry. Then, on top of that, while we were waiting for the microwave in the afternoon, we decided to go to the pool. We got there approximately at 4:45. We were all having a good time, until the lifeguard came to us and told us that we had to get out of the pool because there was a local water aerobics class starting at 5:30. Not too happy about that. We were paying guests here at this hotel so that my kids could swim. Their favorite thing in the world to do. I dont think they should kick out guests for local people to come in for an aerobics class. Not very business like. The next morning, the breakfast was good. Kids eat for free. That made me a little happier. We then traveled to the airport and picked up my sister, and travel to Lock Haven.

When we returned on the 11th, we decided to spend the day in washington seeing the monuments. Wonderful visit. Although, once again, my kids were excited to get to the hotel to go swimming. My sisters flight was at 4:00, so we dropped her off at Dulles at 3:00, and then headed for the hotel. This time, they had my microwave in the room, so I made a small dinner for my girls, and then traveled to the pool at around 5. Once again, we were kicked out because of this same class. I was extremely upset, and had to deal with my three daughters disappointment. This was all that they cared about. I allowed them to stay up late that evening so that I could take them back to the pool, so they could swim a bit more. This made them grumpy the next morning when we began our descent home to Harrisburg Pa.

We were planning a family vacation to either Myrtle beach or Disney this year, but I was recently to the Dr. who said that I had a high thyroid count and high liver enzymes, so I had to have ultrasounds on both. They found a lump on my thyroid, so I had to have that biopsyed. The bill for the medical bills is over $10,000 for all of this work, along with many blood tests, and imaging services. Now we have to use our tax return, that we were supposed to use for family vacation, to pay for the medical bills. Now I am not able to take my girls on a vacation. If I were to win this vacation, I would be incredibly grateful. You would put memories in my daughters' heads, and smiles on their faces.

Your consideration is appreciated greatly!

Sincerely,

The Park family.
