Homewood Suites Washington, DC is an all-suite property with many comforts of home including a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, coffee-maker, microwave oven, two-burner stove, and dishwasher, plus complimentary grocery service and cribs available. Guests also receive a complimentary hot breakfast buffet and a "Welcome Home" reception Monday-Thursday with a salad bar, entrée, side items, beer, wine and soda. Kids can enjoy complimentary cocoa 24/7. Downside: There is no pool. The hotel is located at Thomas Circle, five blocks from the White House and three blocks from Metro.

The Homewood Suites was very clean and the staff helpful with directions and information. Every night at 5pm they serve a light buffet meal so you do not have to cook or go out to eat if you don't feel up to it. The rooms are nice and spacious and the living room/kitchenette are separated from the bedroom area. We are a family of 5 so our daughters ... more +
