Overview

The Horizon at 77th is one of Myrtle Beach’s most popular family-friendly beachside properties.

Located on one of the less congested pieces of the Grand Strand, the 143-room resort mixes the convenience of a seaside hotel with the vibe of a summer shore house rental.

Most of the well-appointed one-, two- and three-bedroom condos and come with large balconies, which provide excellent views of the coastline and ocean. They also include washers and dryers, wireless Internet, cable TV, and full kitchenettes/kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

The resort also has a lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a rooftop sun deck, a fitness center and an onsite restaurant — The Myrtle Beach Cafe. The cafe offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a children’s menu and children’s pricing. Kids 2 and under eat free!

While the resort is located on the edge of a residential neighborhood, it is still on the Grand Strand and families are no more than a short drive away from all of Myrtle Beach’s best attractions, restaurants and shops.

Fabulous Timeshare Property. Walk to the beach!

by GKKelly

We had a wonderful vacation at this Myrtle Beach resort. Spectacular views from the balcony. Two outdoor pools (one set up as a Lazy River), and an indoor pool, too. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was super clean and had a full kitchen. TV in the living/dining/kitchen (open plan) and a tv in each bedroom. There was lots of available parking in the lower level garage. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. One minor "not-so-fabulous" issue was the master bedroom had no curtains or blinds for glass block "windows" that fed onto the interior hall with harsh lights all night long that bothered the lightest sleeper in our 2 couple group. LOTS of great activities and restaurants in Myrtle Beach!

Vacation

My wife and I stayed at Horizons at 77th for vacation. This was our second visit in two years. We first stayed in Unit 518 which was very nice, roomy and had a nice balcony and view. This recent trip we were assigned Unit 508 which was on the other side of the building and not as nice. Unit was much smaller, less closet and storage space in bedroom and kitchen and much smaller balcony.
