I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. We stayed 6 nights. It was a really comfortable well kept room with nice bathroom. No view at all but that’s ok. It’s walking distance to Times Square and other attractions. It was our first time in NYC and we were happy to be staying there! Cleaning service was excellent.

Only complaint is the doors slam and you can hear everyone in the hallways. We had stairs on one side of us and a room on the other and we could hear the people in the room as well. Not as much as in the hallway though. The door slamming was ridiculous! The cleaning people came up in the morning and were slamming them every few seconds. Luckily. We had ear plugs so after that first night, we were prepared and the ear plugs muffled the slamming enough!

The included breakfast was pretty gross. I am not that picky of an eater but there wasn’t one thing I liked. The bagel tasted like glue, they had jelly, not jam... the apple had no flavour. The orange juice was like the McDonalds OJ. So. That was ok. They also had corn flakes and milk which was ok. Oh. And plain Greek yogurt and instant oats. Just needed some flavour.

The bright side though is that there’s a Starbucks next door and a McDonald’s. We only had breakfast at the hotel once and the other days we did McDs, Starbucks or other. Lol.

Anyway. Overall a great place to stay!!

Location: Chose this place because it was 0.3 miles from my meetings. It's also a few blocks from Times Square. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. I felt safe in this area. Not seedy.
The Room: Enjoyed comfy bed, nice A/C, nice bathroom. All looked clean and well-kept. Cons: The lock box in the room is too small to hide a laptop.
The Building: Clean hallways, no odors on 11th floor. The prior review is correct. The walls are thin Or is it the door? I could clearly hear random conversation of someone talking in their room on the phone. The only minor issue is having to wait for one of two elevators. When on the elevator, however, it quickly took us to the lobby. So no real issue. The fitness room is nice. No refrig in rooms.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff.
Overall, the place is more-than-adequate. It's a safe place to stay.
