A wonderful stay

by tawny1956

There is so much positive to say about this hotel... clean, spacious rooms, decor in each room in Woodstock style, with pictures, vinyl albums in each room. The common area is quite inviting. The owners are so very pleasant and accommodating. The only negative is the close proximity to highway 28... traffic all hours of the day and night

Love, Peace, Vinyl, and Smores, Oh My!

A hippie-themed boutique hotel might be something of a contradiction, but aside from the somewhat steep fall weekend rates, Hotel Dylan manages to pull it off amazingly well. We were immediately charmed by the thoughtfully designed 60s themed room, which came complete with funky wallpaper, a record player, a stack of vinyl and carefully selected art books strewn throughout. In addition, the place was sparkling clean, sported very comfortable bedding and a sleek bathroom. The ambiance is lovely and a wonderful effort is being made by host Daryl to get guests comfortable. We arrived on a Thursday evening when things were still quiet, but enjoyed ourselves nevertheless by flipping through stacks of records and playing our favorites on the turntable in the lobby, while huddling near the fireplace with newfound friends. We stayed on for the weekend and got to enjoy the fire pit, as well as the complimentary continental breakfast, which even included lox alongside bagels, cream cheese, vegetables, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, and tea. A lovely touch was the little bag with all the makings for fire pit smores we discovered dangling from our doorknob upon returning to our room after dinner on Friday night.

In summary, I give great kudos to the creators of this space. We will definitely be back!
