Great Boutique hotel in a good location

by VirgilV38

We booked our stay on the morning we were due to arrive. It’s an awesome hotel. The room was large with plenty of room for 3 people to move around. The Bathrooms are also well sized , and plenty of cupboard space. The lighting in the room could be improved , and the aircon filter could do with a change. Theres a gym on the 2nd floor , which was convenient and had the necessary equipment for a full workout. Staff are very friendly and helpful , and were ready to recommend restaurants to try , and sites to see that were close by. They were also happy to accommodate a quick cellphone recharge , and bag storage after check out. The breakfast included could use some work. This was limited to a Hot or Cold beverage , and a muesli with yogurt. Even though tasty , I would have preferred to have additional choices to select from . The location is great . We were able to walk a few blocks to some of Chicago’s tourist attractions eg, John Hancock Skydeck , Navy Yard. Overall , A great experience.

Very Nice hotel but just a warning to keep an eye on your wallet

Stayed there for the Chicago Marathon and the hotel was convenient and pleasant. We arrived early and they held our bags in storage with no issues. Rooms were nice and the size was what was expected for city hotel. The one possible issue I had was that I left my wallet in my room during the marathon and all the credit card numbers were stolen and used for Uber Eats, Uber, and at a AMC movie theatre near Chicago so I don't know for sure someone at the hotel stole the numbers but the only time my wallet was out of my sight was during the race and the charges were all local and it was only the cards I had on me at that time. I had fraud detection so my bank and credit card companies limited the damage but I still had a lot of paperwork to deal with. Again, I don't have proof it happened at the hotel just be more aware than me and lock up your valuables when at any hotel, including this one. Other than that pain the hotel was great for what we needed.
