Overview

The oldest hotel in Aspen, which recently celebrated its 120th anniversary, is a luxury hotel located in the heart of town. The hotel’s massive restoration and design transformation was unveiled in December 2012, returning the hotel to its splendor and place as Aspen’s “Crown Jewel.” Luxury sometimes doesn’t mean family-friendly but at the Hotel Jerome, the staff lives to serve its guests, no matter what age. (Just ask the kids splashing about in the heated pool every afternoon.) Ninety-four guest rooms and suites averaging 500 to 750 square feet offer two queen or one king bed with sitting areas with couches. Humidifiers are provided in each room to combat the high-altitude’s low humidity.

Maroon Bells Wedding

by Spokeygulf

This is the best place I have ever stayed because of the way you are treated.
It is better than Ritz Carlton and has the City of Aspen to entertain you.
We so loved our stay there and shall return.
The city of Aspen is magic and the mountains are like Switzerland.
Thank you Hotel Jerome.

Rustic Victorian Luxury Hotel

by shirleyp432

I wasn’t sure of what to expect since this was my first time staying in Auberge Collection. And it did not disappoint!
I was a little disappointed at first when I found out that Ritz Carlton was already closed for the season (when I travel I like to stay in a nice hotel to relax and rejuvenate). So I google searched “best luxury hotel in Aspen.” After reading all the reviews, I decided to book & purchase a room at Hotel Jerome.
I’m glad Ritz was closed for the season and I got to try Jerome. It’s a beautiful lovely hotel and I love everything about this hotel!
The hotel has a Rustic/Victorian luxury boutique feel to it. The moment I arrived and valet my car, everyone made me feel special and welcome. Two staffs took me to my room and helped with my luggage. When I saw my room, I was highly satisfied!
The room was very spacious and has a view of the mountain, it comes with complimentary snacks and drinks for the first night and the toiletries were Hermeś (a nice plus!).
The hotel has three restaurants but we only tried two (Prospect & J Bar). I wasn’t very impressed with J Bar, the foods my friend and I ordered were okay, they’re not bad at all. But my husband and I are big foodies, so I’m very picky when it comes to food. We had breakfast at Prospect and their breakfast was good. The muffins that came before our order was good.
The hotel is located in downtown Aspen and very close to other restaurants and stores. So it’s very convenient. While we were there we visited Maroon Bells which was a close drive from the hotel.
We didn’t try the spa & the gym at the hotel. But we tried the pool and jacuzzi. I think it was 5°F when I visited, but the heated pool and jacuzzi felt very nice. The water temp was perfect!!!

I’m happy I stayed at hotel Jerome Auberge Collection. I will definitely return and this time I’m bringing my husband along.
