Reviews

Overpriced

by padic

Stayed here over the weekend for SMU homecoming. Having stayed here before, I was appalled to find out I was charged $500 per night (two night minimum) night for a room with a view of a very nice white wall. Room had no coffee and no turn down service at this price? Staff was pleasant, especially John in the attached restaurant. This is consistent with previous reviews on price. This time, price gouging for homecoming seems a great way to describe how we were treated. Next time, it sure won't be here.

Huge disappointment and $$$$

by KCParkliving

I have stayed here a few times and absolutely loved the experienced. I stayed in a large room on these other occasions, however, this trip I stayed in a premier room for $379+ per night. Not sure what happen in 6 months, however, I was stunned at the changes. In comparison to other hotels at this price point I was extremely disappointed. Bare bones. No room service, sad coffee station in the lobby, beds were lofty and messy, ZERO room amenities, smell in the room was like unshampooed carpet, wifi was spotty and I had to call for it. Room service was late in the day (i had to call for it day one) and there was simply nothing to justify that price point. Better off at a generic "suits" type hotel. Staff has always been wonderful, however, the cost was way out touch. I will never stay here again.
