Not what I was hoping for

Our stay at Hotel Menage was not what I was hoping for. We stayed for 7 nights. The room had only 1 king bed and a sofa bed. The front desk informed us that 80% of the rooms at this hotel have a king/sofa bed so we couldn't get a room with 2 beds, more +they were all booked. The noise from the traffic was UNBELIEVABLE!!! We honestly had to shout at each other if we were standing outside our room. In the room was better, but still quite loud. The kids had no problem sleeping but I really struggled.
The 24 hour pool and hot tub was a joke! The pool was SOOO cold that not even my kids wanted to go in it. And the hot tub was more like a luke warm tub! It certainly was not the relaxing hot tub I was looking forward to after walking around Disneyland all day.
The first night we checked in I actually had to ask the front desk to get the maids to vacuum our room. There was garbage on the floor from the prevoius guests and the carpets had clearly not been vacuumed. The coffee supplied was 1 cup (yes cup, not pot) of regular and 1 cup of decaf. Not enough for me and my husband!
Our internet connection was hit and miss. Twice I had to tell the front desk that their internet hadn't been working for 2 days. They had to reset their interent but apparantly they needed access to one of the guest rooms to do that so we had to wait until they left the room. Well, at 10:00 at night that wasn't going to happen until the next day and I couldn't wait that long.
The staff was friendly, I never had a problem with any of them. The restaurant food was good although portions were small.
We had decided to pay more for a room at Disneyland so we could enjoy the pool and hot tub which in the end we never got to enjoy because it was too cold. In hind sight we should have stayed walking distance to Disneyland and saved some money. We udes the ART to get to/from Disney but since this hotel is the last one on the route to Disney it was often full and we would have to wait for the next bus. The noise from the traffic will also keep me from returning to this hotel.

I must say that staying at the Hotel Menage was great. We had a wonderful experience.

The people Were Friendly. The food and drinks were good. My family and I had a great time swimming in the pool and hanging out in the hot tub.

The best part of the vacation we could walk to Disneyland. Everything was in walking distance and the Hotel was easy to get too! I recommend this Hotel. My overall rating for this hotel is a four.
