After extensive search I settled on Patio del Malinche because it is quiet and clean, yet one block from teeming Calzada Street. I was pleasantly surprised that the facilities and the service is 5 stars, not 3. New, clean, fully furnished, quiet and comfortable rooms in an old style colonial home with 2 patios and a small pool. Friendly staff. A tasty breakfast is optional. Parking is on a lot on the side street for a modest charge. A self service, honor system bar. Meals are on your own. A bargain !

We checked in at el Patio for two nights and we ended up staying four. The service was excellent, they made us feel welcome since the moment we arrived. We could not have hoped for a better lodging with a swimming pool and top notch breakfasts right in the heart of Granada. Very clean and quite, great wifi and on top of that, genuine architecture and decoration. Recommended 100%, will definetely return when back in Granada.
