Well what can I say, hotel is amazing. Food fabulous with excellent choice for all dietary requirements. Room great, the wardrobe dehumidifier was a great asset, no damp smelling clothes. Few teething problems, mini bar optics not fully stocked as I would expect on arrival, hand rail loose in bath room, master switch falling off. All rectified I’m pleased to say. Pool area could do with some TLC. We love both beach and pool, as this was our 4 th stay I feel I can comment of some of the changes. Not as many pool area drink servers, when we went the first time the animation team went right around the pool inviting guests to join activities, not anymore. They used to do a daily sunbed quiz which was fun. We also used to look forward to the 3 pm pool game whether participating or watching, this was very poor this time, you can only watch flip flop kicking into the pool once really for it to be fun. Only lasted 10 minutes. The animation team also do some little games in the lobby on an evening with bar staff making cocktails, you’ll need to be early for this as we went for dinner at 8 and all gone.
The effort the whole hotel put on for Halloween was fabulous, face painting, little horror house to walk through.
All staff were super helpful and friendly, Mirabel around the pool along with Israel and Angel, Ari in the sports made great coffee all with a smile unlike the chap that worked the later shift who was quite grumpy and no smile.
All in all we had a fab time. I will be watching for future reviews to decide whether we’ll be going for a fifth time. I would be sad if we didn’t.

The hotel was as always a beautiful sight to see as we came in by cab. Alex and Mario shot our bags into the lobbby as we walked to reception desk. Smiles were every where. Some of the regulars were on vacation, but the fill-ins were just as efficent. Our room was ready with welcoming 'gifts' that I will picture. On our aniviersary evening (That was remembered by staff.) we had a fantastic meal in Krystal. The pool and the beach were excellent. We visited with new friends at the hotel and old friends 'downtown'. I could go on much longer but will sum the visit up by saying, "Another fantastic visit at RIU Pacifico."
