Great room, no so breakfast

by richardlH1155UC

I like everything about the place except the breakfast and parking. Only two sugar coated dry cereals, fruit maybe, coffee that runs out quickly, and a combo of eggs and stuff that isn't very appetizing at all. Like to see a pancake/waffle machine and better cereal selection. Rooms are great, very clean and roomy. Parking is a problem.

Very disappointed

We came for a 2 night stay for an event The appearance when you pull up is not inviting. It looks run down. The room received was clean and spacious. We left for dinner in town and when we returned the parking lot was packed and no where for us to park. The front desk person directed us to some spaces that were on the opposite side of the property and were situated where we felt we would get backed into by other cars. The restaurant on site had obviously brought in many additional cars. We drove around several times before a space became available. We went into the bar/restaurant called What If? and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice. Extremely opposite to the rest of the property. The pillows in the room are like giant marshmallows. They do not compress when you lay down so your head is very high. Very uncomfortable. Next morning went to the complimentary breakfast. This is no Holiday Inn Express. There was one hot option. There were 2 cereal dispensers and cereal all over the counter. The milk was empty. We had to track down someone to call the person that maintains the food supply. The food was adequate at best. At $260 a night I would not stay here again.
