Oasis in the desert!

The Tamaya is one of the most awe inspiring hotels we have stayed in. Located in the foothills of the Sandia mountains on the Santa Ana reservation and at the edge of the Rio Grande , the location could not be more spectacular. It has the peaceful more +quite of the desert and as you enter the main lobby you are wrapped in the cedar inscence and flute music that give the place it's majestic ambiance. It has three great restaurants and a bar ranging from casual dining to the very exclusive Corn Maiden. As far as activities, specially for warmer weather it has three heated pools, one with awater slide and one only for adults. It has a spa where you can get any pampering imaginable. For golf lovers there is a course with a view. You cannot run out of activities including the hiking and the Tamaya s own stables with organized horse riding day trips. You are also mid way between Santa Fe and Albuquerque and can enjoy the best of both worlds. It is truly a place of enchantment!
