This is where you bring your family to make sure they are eating healthy, but in a fun creative atmosphere. The kitchen will gladly downsize and reduce the price on any adult item if it's for a child under 10 years old, but the children's menu itself include things like "green eggs and ham" and everything served with lots of fresh fruit. Each of the five locations around town has outdoor seating and is a great place to bring the family dog. Look for one about a block from the Children's Museum and another near White River State Park.

A meal here is just like sitting around the table at home, with large round tables and comfort food served family-style. Check out goodies like pan-fried chicken, whipped potatoes, green beans, buttered corn, country gravy and homemade biscuits. Make your own ice cream sundaes top off the meal.

Mom and dad can have a nice glass of wine at this adult-friendly pizzeria and be confident that kids are eating healthy pizza and pasta. The tables are covered with craft paper so coloring is encouraged. Each child also receives a box of wikki sticks to play with while waiting for dinner to arrive. The location is convenient to Connor Prairie.

If you see children running around Scotty's like they own the place, that's probably Scotty's children. And because of them, Scotty makes sure that all of the children's meals are served with apple slices along with other healthy choices. Plus, kids eat free every Tuesday and Sunday. Saturday and Sunday brunch offers a full cereal bar stocked with a variety of cereals, milk and fruit toppings. Otherwise, mom and dad have a nice selection of sandwiches, pastas and salads.
