This resort, located on 3,000 acres, has 150 rooms and suites with great views of the mountains. It offers a great combination of new and old. On the National Register of Historic places, it combines an elegant setting and period and period decor with modern amenities like a private movie theater, free wireless Internet and a full-service spa. Families will love the wide array of activities, including 36 holes of championship golf, horseback-riding, indoor and outdoor pools, hiking and ATV trails and a small children's play area. Skiing and tubing are available at nearby Camelback. The onsite restaurant The Exchange serves dinner nightly, while the more casual Old Lamplighter Lounge has a pub menu. Packages that include dinner are available. Kids will love the family movie nights in the theater, ice cream socials, table tennis tournaments and game nights.
