Kalahari Resorts is a destination resort where water parks rule. At the Sandusky location, the resort features 900 African-themed guest rooms and suites for two to six people. Choose from over ten different types of guest rooms and suites tailored specifically for families with the comfort and features of home. Family Suites can accommodate up to eight, and Condo Suites include a full kitchen. All rooms include refrigerator, microwave, free Internet and coffee makers.

For each registered hotel guest the resort offers admission to America's Largest Indoor Waterpark and jungle-themed indoor playground area, Tree Top Play. Family fun will be had year-round at "America's Largest Indoor Waterpark" with 173,000 feet of indoor water rides, pools and lazy rivers. In warmer months, Kalahari's outdoor water park features waterslides, lazy river and pools, and the Safari Outdoor Adventure Park provides rope courses, climbing walls, zip lining and more to add to the fray. For kids there is an interactive, educational animal encounter called, Safari Adventure with kangaroos, zebra, African antelope and pygmy goats, African tortoises and more.

The resort features four restaurants, and the theme parks provide six more dining options.
