0140 Ida Belle Drive Keystone, CO 970-496-4333
Gather the family and enjoy apres ski right in the middle of River Run Village. Set in a perfect location, 9280' is one of the most happening places in Keystone. This family-friendly restaurant has one of the best decks, offering amazing views of the mountains and slopes. Have some laughs, enjoy some great food, and take advantage of the drinks specials for grownups. A number of wraps and sandwiches are offered as well as burgers, salads, and entrees. A children's menu is provided, offering mac 'n cheese and cheese quesadillas.

23044 US Hwy 6Keystone, CO 970-496-4386
Offering the perfect casual dining experience for families, the Black Bear Grill serves up a variety of soups, sandwiches, burgers and flat bread pizzas. Be sure to try out any one of the specialty "bear" essentials such as wild-game sliders, green-chili crab cakes, fried calamari and chicken wings.

22869 US Hwy 6Keystone, CO 970-262-9185
For authentic Mexican fare, head to Dos Locos for some of the most delicious entrees and budget-friendly dining in Keystone. Enjoy scrumptious burritos, tacos, enchiladas and warm chips with zesty salsa. Appetizers include chicken quesadillas and my favorite, the nachos grande pilled high with toppings. If you save enough room for dessert, try the deep-fried ice cream or the dessert empanadas.

111 South Main StreetBreckenridge, CO 970-435-1401
With decidedly kid-friendly fare and an arcade, this lively bar and restaurant is a wonderful spot for families. Patrons can order traditional pub treats like fries, soft pretzels, buffalo wings, burgers and pizza. For the health conscious, salads and a good selection of vegetarian sandwiches are available too. Don't come here if you're in a hurry and seeking a quick meal, as the kids are likely to want to spend some time shooting aliens in the arcade.

100 N Main St. Ste 212Breckenridge, CO 970-453-3838
There's something about skiing that makes one crave pizza. When the cheese and sauce craving hits, Giampietro's is a good bet for New York-style pies and Sicilian deep-dish pizzas. For dinner or lunch, pasta dishes and antipasti are also available. Giampietro's is in a great location, right downtown on Main Street, so it's walking-distance from many local resorts.

129 River Run Rd.Keystone, CO 970-496-4601
Located at the base of Keystone Mountain in River Run Village, Kickapoo Tavern is another great apres ski bar and grill. It has a diverse menu, likely to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. Munch on delicious burgers, salads, sandwiches, burritos and more. A special children's menu is offered, serving up some kid favorites including chicken fingers, mac 'n cheese wedges, and grilled cheese.

22010 Hwy 6Keystone, CO 877-753-9786‎
Perfect for a quick bite to eat with the family, Lakeside Deli offers freshly baked breakfast breads, pastries, salads and gourmet sandwiches, ready to go or prepared to order. To start your day, the deli offers breakfast burritos and sandwiches, muffins, bagels with cream cheese, sticky buns and cinnamon rolls. For lunch, there are daily specials, build-your-own sandwiches, soups and salads.

113 South Main StreetBreckenridge, CO 970-453-4330
Perfect for a date night out or a special dinner with older kids or teens, Modis is an upscale restaurant that serves impressive gourmet dishes like seared jumbo sea scallops with ginger fried rice or roasted elk loin with fingerling potatoes. Modis' desserts are the icing on the cake. We couldn't get enough of the sticky toffee pudding, which was perfectly sweet, gooey and chewy. It is not recommended for families with infants or toddlers (but we bet your 3-year-old would be delighted if you brought home a doggy bag of that sticky toffee pudding).

1521 Ski Hill RoadBreckenridge, CO 970-547-880
For slope-side dining, the Ski Hill Grill at the base of Peak Eight at One Ski Hill Place is our top pick for families. This is a cafeteria-style eatery that serves a wide variety of food, including burgers, pizza, Asian-style rice and noodles, salads, desserts, Mexican food and more. On warmer days, you can take your meal outside and munch on the restaurant's sizeable patio while watching skiers fly down the hill. Prices are steep. But Ski Hill Grill's location can't be beat for a hearty meal and a restroom break in between runs.

23074 US Hwy 6Keystone, CO 970-468-2788
Serving locals and guests for over 30 years, the Snake River Saloon provides a great family-friendly dining atmosphere. The menu features a wide range of options from pasta dishes to beef and fish entrees. Perfect for the little ones, a children's menu offers ravioli, chicken fingers, fried shrimp, and cheeseburgers. With live music on the weekends, Snake River Saloon is the perfect place to cut loose and enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere.
