When my husband and I stayed at La Luna Inn recently, I was severely disappointed. The curtains in our room were torn as were the lampshades. There was one child sized plastic chair in the room. The bathroom was clean and had ample hot water; however, the tub was chipped and dreary looking. There were stains on the comforter cover that didn't show until the lights were on at night. In the office, the "personnel only" door looked like someone had kicked it creating a long crack. Although the person at the desk was cordial when we arrived, the stay overall was unpleasant. The motel is run down.

Spacious room, with tv, fridge and coffee and comfy bed. Fresh towels daily. Exceptional help from all staff on the desk with tips and recommendations to help us enjoy our stay. Not the hotel’s fault that the road was being dug up outside and a cleaning crew were power-washing the building, but combined with the traffic it was noisy! WiFi was patchy.
We were an easy walk to the Marina where we watched the superb Blue Angels in a display. Buses to Fisherman’s Wharf and the Bridge depart from close by. We would stay again.
