Completely remodeled in the summer of 2012, La Selva is another upscale eco-lodge deep in the Amazon. Families will like the 12 thatched cabanas with varying sleeping configurations, including a rare (for this area) family suite with a king and two double beds, private bathroom and a porch with a Jacuzzi tub. Set on the shores of Lake Garzacocha, the resort is known for its premier birdwatching opportunities, with close to 600 species spotted on or near the property.

Amazing experience in the Amazon

We spent 5 nights in La Selva Amazon Ecolodge together with other 3 couples two weeks ago . It was one of the most enjoyable trips we ever had , experiencing the Jungle so close and lively . The program & content was rich and valuable and the guide , named Paul , was extremely professional and knowledgeable . The location is great and the Lodge itself is very well managed , food is tasty , suites are maintained very well and all is well controlled and managed by Migel , the lodge manager.
It is a certainly a place we will be happy to stay again.

Amazing trip!

Went as an add on trip before visiting the Galápagos Islands. So glad we did as we had a really fabulous time.
We fished for Piranha during our down time, there is so much to do or time to have a siesta if you prefer.
The guides were very knowledgeable and had super sharp vision when it came to animal spotting. La Selva was really a superb lodge.
Have the best memories and everything about this trip was perfect for us travelling as a family with 19 and 22yr olds!
