Overview

Open May 2 through Jan. 1, this charming 1916 lodge on the shores of Lake Crescent provides the experience of stepping back in time. The lodge features an expansive sun porch, historic lobby and restaurant with a kid’s menu, as well as rooms and cabins with both historic and contemporary features. There’s no television or Wi-Fi here, but families will have off-the-grid fun with a dock, beach, shoreline trails and boat rentals, including stand-up paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, rowboats and fishing rods. The one- and two-bedroom Singer Tavern Cabins and Marymere rooms offer lakeside proximity. The roomy one- and two-bedroom Roosevelt Fireplace Cottages (named for President Franklin) contain fireplaces, refrigerators and microwaves, and can be rented during the winter, Fridays through Sundays. For smaller and less contemporary rooms, try the Pyramid Mountain rooms, which offer two queen beds.

Reviews

Nice place, no quiet rooms in main building

by Liisulo

If you want to have a good night sleep in privacy without any noices, don´t take a room from the main building. You could hear when someone on the net room turned in their bed during the night.

Rooms were really really beautiful and clean.
Views were awesome, breakfast and dinner was also very good.
Bring a flashlight, you couldn´t basicly see anything on the yard after sunset.

Stunning stopover on trip to Olympic Penninsula

by Bluejay1551

I stopped here for dinner, overnight and breakfast on a quick visit to the Park. It was a wonderful experience. It was fall, so it was not as crowded as other reviews seem to indicate. The location is stunning with a marvelous view of the lake from both the dining area and my room. Staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. The food was excellent. The fireplace sitting area in the lodge was a great place to read a book and have a glass of wine. My room was quiet, clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. To stay at a location with prices at this level is a luxury for me but it was worth every penny.
