Absolutely perfect!

by clsmith0479

We just returned from a 3 night getaway at Lake Shore resort. I cannot say enough about this place. It was perfect! We had a deluxe king room and it was clean and modern with a beautiful view of the lake. The grounds were immaculate and the included breakfast was good. We enjoyed it on the patio overlooking at the lake each morning. The sunset each night was absolutely breathtaking. It was our first time there, but it definitely won't be our last.

Lake Shore Resort, Great Place To Escape, Enjoy Lake Michigan

by McCunications

Lake Shore Resort began as a motel; they expanded, renovated, added amenities and upgraded.

We loved that Lake Shore is located on a back, country road in an otherwise residential area. This is no tourist trap, it's a place to escape and enjoy the lake.

There was a table in the room, but no desk/workspace. And no clock.

Saugutuck is a perfect town for tourists and nearby Douglas has a couple excellent restaurants.

It's a short drive to South Haven, one of the best spots in the state for tourists.

We'll be returning to Lake Shore Resort, loved it!
