Excellent service

by kevinmY3734FB

Spent a week here on a short family break. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very well appointed and excellently maintained.

All of the staff were absolutely lovely. So friendly and exceptional service.

The food was generally of very good quality.

My only minor gripe was the lack of choice of restaurant. Admittedly it was low season, but the callaloo restaurant is not really a fine dining evening experience. Needless to say, when this point was made to the restaurant manager, she was amazing in addressing this issue.

All in all a great place to stay.

Lovely resort but very poor food offerings

by Pasika

Travelling with family Including 2 young children.
Lovely facilities and gardens very well kept. Staff are all helpful and charming. Food offering range from poor to adequate. Service in the restaurants very slow- kitchens really need attention to justify the pricing at this otherwise lovely resort with a great setting.
Without knowing any detail it is clear that the place needs a complete revamp in terms of the food offering. If there is an executive chef in situ that person needs to spend time in the kitchens. And then some. Management is failing seriously here.
The dishes are inconsistent- eg on some days there are tomatoes in the Greek salads and on other dates not.
Hardly any meat on the menus other that repetitive chicken breasts. Quality of vegetables and fruit high and fresh too.
All else dull, inconsistent and on occasions very poor. Makes a stay of more than a week quite a challenge, especially since there are so few restaurants open at the resort at any one time.
Breakfast juices in buffet are from cheap packets. By 8 am on some days food runs short.
Menus in evenings occasionally highlight specials- almost always pushing lobster and other dishes requiring hefty surcharges and limited other choice.
The weekly barbecue offered poor quality foods and cheap grisly ribs. Not at all acceptable.
Bar staff and waiting staff do their best in trying circumstances.
The complaints about the food are regrettable because in all other respects the place is lovely. Management please note.
