Convenient for Convention Center Stay

by mcknzallen

If you want to be conveniently located next to the convention center, this is perfect. Only steps away and close to the airport. I do recommend checking the room and bed, as the comforter and sheet situation was never fully complete on the 3 of my 5 nights. The restaurant has an excellent short-rib flatbread, but that is about it.

Second Stay at Lovely Hotel Near Love Park

by OjeMa

We were in town for the long Veterans Day weekend and selected Le Meriedien again given the pet friendly policy and convenient downtown location. All of the major sites are an easy walk or quick Uber. As remembered, the staff is lovely and everyone makes you feel welcome. We were upgraded to a deluxe king room with a view of Love Park. Our room was quiet and we enjoyed the extra space. All of the amenities are deluxe—plush towels, great bed, nice bath products. The gym has about 10 cardio machines and is well maintained. My one complaint is that the bar was understaffed and not well stocked on a busy Friday night. Then for breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday,
staff could not keep the breakfast bar stocked or the coffee flowing. The hotel was clearly at capacity and extra hands and supplies were needed.
