We found a great deal on staying at the Loews Hotel. The front entrance was under construction, but it did not affect the service of the hotel. The staff was great, very family friendly! We were even greeted one night in our room by milk and a more +huge plate of huge cookies! The location can't be beat- it's right on an awesome beach, has a great pool, and is very close to an entire street of shopping and fun different places to eat.
Also there is a great buffet in the hotel for breakfast with great Orange Juice. The price is pretty high, but great service and food- and you can eat outside overlooking the ocean.

The hotel also says 'Loews Loves Kids' and have a menu of toys you can check out free during your stay. And they give them a free FP toy to take home.

My only advice would be to avoid Labor Day, the hotel was great until the weekend of Labor Day and we were kept awake until after 4 AM! The service of the hotel also suffered. Also, don't go to the concierge for advice, twice were led on a goose chase on their recommendation only to find very overpriced and not kid friendly places, we wasted a lot of time walking to get to a place to eat that didn't even have a kids menu and the food was overpriced and not good.

Overall we loved the hotel though and will try to make it back!

Loews Miami Beach is a lively hotel - bright and cheerful. There was plenty to do. The pool area was fun and had lots of activities all day long. The staff at the hotel were courteous and attentive. The hotel had small freebies that made one feel more +special. There was chilled towels at noon, little smoothie cups in the afternoon, frozen grapes to enjoy in the sun and other small amenities that made one feel good. Where most hotels make their money on exorbitantly priced bottled water, this hotel had pitchers of chilled fruit-infused water through out the day and delicious lemonade and iced tea in the lobby at all times.

The rooms were comfortable and the bed linens were luxurious. The staff were very caring. There was great security through out the hotel with staff checking your room keys every few steps in order to avoid trespassers. The hotel had a great location and was within walking distance of all shops, restaurants and night life. All in all it was a great experience and I would really recommend this hotel to all families.
