We spent three nights at Marriott's Newport Coast Villas on Pacific Coast Highway. This was a wonderful location, situated within 10 minutes of Newport Beach, Balboa Beach, and Laguna Beach. We enjoyed each of these beaches during our stay.

The villas are timeshare condominiums that can be rented out to non-owners. We are not owners and did not have to listen to any kind of timeshare sales pitch. The property has a beautiful pool with other activites available for children such as ping pong, jumbo chess and checkers right out by the pool area. There was live music and food out by the pool, as well. The propery had a shuttle bus to the beaches and you could also rent beah chairs and other beach items.

The rooms were beautiful and slept eight easily. There is a full service kitchen and beautiful views. We loved Crystal Cove State Park which is right across the street from the villas. There are hiking paths and pristine beaches at the state park. Disneyland is not far, but we just did the beaches on this trip. Long Beach Airport is only minutes away! We loved our beach vacation at Newport!

We stayed in the Newport villas on a vacation package. The kids loved the pool area which had 3 pools, ping-pong, giant size chess and outdoor billiards. We were able to oversee them while sipping cocktails at the outside bar and grill. There more +were plenty of chairs to relax around the pool.

The Villas were spacious and equipped with a full kitchen and enough room for relaxing. Outside each complex was a grill to cook our own meals. The resort was very large but lots of activities for outdoors. The only downside to villas is that it was not on the beach. It was close to Laguna Beach and others but you had to get in the car to drive there. We would definitely go back to the Villa because of the rooominess of our family of 5 and central location in Southern California.

California at its best. Our stay was for a week at the Newport Coastal Villas just outside of Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who quickly got us signed in and made sure we had everything we needed more +before we headed for our villa. We were close to the family pool and main building per my request including a great view of the coast highway and the ocean from our balcony. The villa was clean and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the area with the many choices of entertainment from hiking near the ocean, beautiful beaches, quaint town atmosphere in Corona Del Mar, Balboa Island, and all the many sites that the LA area has to offer close at hand. Disneyland was only 22 miles away! The Fashion Center Mall was only 10 minutes away with many big name stores like Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom's. The time flew by and we look forward to returning on another vacation to the area.
