My whole family (17) visited Nuevo Vallarta and enjoyed the hotel, Mayan Palace. It was a little pricey, however, you could find everything within the hotel grounds. The pool is about a mile long (not kidding you) and the activities for the children were endless. The dolphin adventure is right next door, which we took advantage of the free shuttle bus.
