Beautiful Hotel

by Robsp1965

A very beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms are large and include Internet TV and a refrigerator. Here for a conference, meeting areas are beautiful and the food is amazing. All of the employees we have interacted with have been incredibly friendly.

Customer Experience Catastrophe!!

by GARY R

I showed up tonight after making a reservation weeks ago and they told me at the front desk that the hotel is oversold, which means they have no room for me. They then told me that they’re sending me to another Marriott property 25 minutes away! They agreed to care care of the charges, which isn’t much compensation, considering this is a business trip. I booked and RESERVED this hotel specifically because I have an early meeting a few blocks away. Now I have to fight morning DC traffic in order to arrive at my meeting on time. I’m a Marriott Elite member which clearly has done nothing for me. Oh and guess what - I’ve now been waiting on line at the new Marriott hotel for 15 minutes just to get my room. Poor customer service in the name of profits- revenue management should be ashamed.
