We really did enjoy being at Atlantis on our family vacation. We haven't done resort travel in a long time and forgot how much fun it can be - we also forgot how tiresome it can be. The waterparks are great! The kids took off for much of the day and we'd see them swing by on their tubes every 30 minutes or so. That made the trip a blast for everyone, my husband and I enjoyed relaxing by the pool. As everyone says, it is expensive.

Our room had a kitchenette so we ate all of our breakfast in our room - we ordered groceries online on food store 2 go who delivered right to our hotel. We packed snacks for the pool so didn't have to wait in long lines and pay high prices for the snack shops during the day. Dinners were great - kids loved Johnny rockets for the burgers. Splurged on Seafire Grill for one of the best steaks my husband ever had.

It's a big place so be prepared for a lot of walking - no running back to the room if you forget something. I recommend it for families with kids - just be sure to be a good planner and you'll enjoy it too!
