Stepping off the plane on the tarmac in Turks and Caicos one can see right away how low key and pristine the island is. The trip from the airport to the resort is short and scenic, and having no buildings higher than the tallest palm tree really makes a difference on the island.
Beaches, Turks and Caicos is beautiful in many ways and offers amenities of all kinds for both adults and kids. There are 3 Villages at Beaches, Caribbean being the first built, and my favorite, since it is low key and away from everything. The accommodations are typical of a Caribbean Island vacation, and I was told that even the CEO Butch Stewart likes to stay there when at the resort. I would definitely recommend these accommodations to couples traveling without kids, or with teens, or who like to be close to the beach and water sports area.
Next, French Village, these accommodations definitely recommended for small families with small children and the proximity of the water park and the all night restaurant which has take out available. It has a huge adult pool with swim up bar, and by the way, all the pools have huge swim up bars. The Sesame Street parade terminates in the French Village at the huge outdoor stage arena, and the kids club is awesome with the x-box video game room and the game room and teen club.
Finally, the new Italian Village. These are multi-story accommodations that I would recommend for larger families or friends and families traveling together. The accommodations feature break-out rooms that can open to 2-5 bedrooms with trundle beds and butler service. The huge swim-up bar is just steps from the beach area and "Barefoot in the Sand", a superb dining venue in the sand. All the accommodations here at Beaches Turks and Caicos are Luxurious, Restaurants Fantastic and you have 16 dining venues to choose from, Mario's the Italian Restaurant,The Pub, an authentic English Pub,The Sushi and French Restaurants and at night Liquid; the dance club, which is located near the French and Italian villages. This Resort is Highly recommended and worth every penny. One upfront price takes are of it all.
