My husband chose Beaches Turks and Caicos for this summer vacation. Our boys are 17, 14, and 12. They all had a great time. It was an unforgettable vacation for everyone.
From the moment you arrive, (a short drive from the airport and they pick you up), you know you are at a special place. It is stunningly beautiful here!! You are greeted with cool drinks and washcloths. They take your luggage and you to your beautiful room. We booked the Caribbean village and were upgraded on arrival to the new Italian village. Each village is unique and beautiful.
Our suite was very, very nice and comfortable, beautifully decorated comfortable beds for everyone the boys had their own room with a bunk and a trundle. Even the bathroom is exceptional with marble and glass tile. There was a soaking whirlpool tub and large shower and a private water closet. Snacks and drinks plentiful and replenished each day. We had a room on the ground floor, which meant we could walk right out our room onto our patio (which had it's own little tropical garden),and straight to the pool or the beach or wherever we wanted to go. Also the resort is very clean and safe.
The beach is beautiful, calm turquoise water and white powdery sand. There were plenty of beach and pool chairs and towels. We saw a sting ray, starfish and several conch as well as small fish right on the beach. We went snorkeling 3 times while there, the coral reefs are beautiful and right in front of the property. The underwater sea life and the many, many fish are simply beautiful. We even saw a turtle. We went on the Kitty Kat snorkel cruise, what a blast!!! After snorkeling on the reef there was a party for everyone. There was also a photographer on the boat who got some great shots of my family (now on my mantle). The water park is great fun for everybody. The restaurants were really, really good. Big variety of food, very well prepared. My favorite meal was at Schooners, we ate out on the covered porch and watched the most stunning sunset. Even our 3 boys enjoyed it. The food that night was fabulous. During our entire stay the weather was wonderful, no rain, warm but comfortable.
There are so many things to see and do there. Or you can do nothing and just relax. In the evening as you walk through the grounds, the fragrance of the flowers in the air is practically intoxicating. The grounds are beautiful with all kinds of trees and flowers and fountains everywhere you look. The staff are always helpful and nice, the food is great, the resort is beautiful with plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. I would definitely return ASAP
