If you think Miami is just hot, hot, hot and supermodels and scantily dressed beachgoers, well, sure, that part of Miami does exist. But that's only one part of Miami's many layers. The bustling international city is also great for families. Without taking the kids out of the country, you can show them a little piece of Cuba and Miami's Latin flair. You can also swim with dolphins, take in a number of professional sporting events, visit the world's only subtropical forest, the Everglades, and enjoy a of number of theme parks and attractions -- Hey! Orlando isn't the only destination in the state with theme parks, you know!
Even after growing up in South Florida, my kids and I never tire of a visit to Miami. It's lively and has a vibe that just screams fun. There's a little something for all ages in this Art Deco, neon-clad city. And it is hot, hot, hot!
