Mountain View

Great resort, beautiful location, certainly one of my top 5 hotels! The trails were easily walkable. The wine tour was outstanding. The sea bass at the Wine Cellar was the best I ever had! Highly recommend.

Quite Surprised

This hotel is incredible and I definitely will be coming back. I booked through Groupon (which I highly recommend as the room fees per night can be $400+/night. I was able to get a week stay for $600). I found that the website doesn't do the hotel justice as the amenities are incredible.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by staff who were incredibly friendly. We found out upon driving up that they have free valet parking and have staff that will help you remove luggage from your car. They will also get your bags up to your rooms for you. The hotel is VERY big and there are lots of turns and corners to get lost in (I got lost a few times). There are several walking trails around the property that are wonderful for a stroll or a run. You can even rent mountain bikes and choose to bike through them.

There's a farm on the property where you can walk around. Although they do have a daily "meet the farmer" activity, the farm staff were very friendly and answered all of the questions I had about the animals there, even though it was after the activity time. I met an Angora Bunny Rabbit while I was there, a highlight of the trip in my opinion.

There's a movie theater and game room on the property. By the way, that's a free activity. You're not going to get first run movies, but the catalog is expansive so you're bound to find something you will want to watch. The staff will even bring you popcorn if you'd like a treat during the movie.

The rest of the time I spent there was out and about in Littleton and North Conway. Littleton is the closest town with a bunch of little shops on the main road. North Conway also has a great little shopping district. You could spend hours in both places. North Conway is about an hour away from the hotel, while Littleton is about half an hour away.

I highly recommend going out and about and not spending all of your time at the hotel. My favorite experience was at The Cog Railway. It takes you up Mount Washington. Although I didn't go all the way up the mountain on that day because it was too dangerous to do so, the location that we did go to offered an amazing view of the mountains.

The room was small, however, I didn't mind that so much. I actually appreciated the coziness of the room. I did not like the fact that we didn't have a coffee maker or a refrigerator in the room. You can pay for a refrigerator if you'd like but that seemed like an unnecessary expense in my opinion. I ended up buying an electric kettle and bringing instant coffee so I could make it in the room. I'm happy I did so, because the coffee that was offered in the lobby was cold and did not taste very good at all.
