We stayed at Landmark Resort the hotel was old and run down. The elevators were slow and when you got out of the elevator and walked to your room there was a foul smell of urine. The housekeeping didn't sweep behind the doors there were bugs on more +the floor when we checked in and there were bugs on the floor when we checked out 6 days later. The hotel was in a good location and was oceanfront we stayed in a condo with living room and kitchen. The hotel had 17 pools which was ok. The staff u didn't see very much of. Hotel just needs some upkeep.

My family enjoy themselves very much. sometimes it hard to find a place where the whole family can have a good time. We have all ages, with different ideas. My husband and I even had a chance to have some alone time. the Hotle was wonderful more +everything we needed and more. We will go back soon.

We spent a week at Myrtle Beach Resort with two of our grandchildren (twin boys, age 12) during their spring break; it was one of the most rewarding weeks of our lives. The resort is on the ocean at Myrtle Beach on the south edge of the city and more +away from most of the hustle, bustle and traffic. It is situated on 30+ acres and has lots of trees, vegetation, and grass, all well kept. It is a gated resort with 24-hour roving security. There were several BBQ grills and picnic tables on the premises.

From www.myrtlebeachresort.com we rented a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo directly from an owner. We were on the 5th (top) floor of an oceanfront building. This building also contained a heated indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, steam room and sauna. We were steps away from the ocean and from the Lazy River. This definitely is a family oriented resort. I could see things to do for children of all ages. In the Lazy River area there also was a kiddie pool with water dropping off an umbrella, a kiddie water play area and an adult pool. The kiddie water play area had bucket dumps, water sprays, etc. There also was a kiddie playground in another area.

Our boys enjoyed the putting green, building sand castles in the white sand, boogie boarding in the surf, finding shark teeth along the beach and feeding the ducks, swans and turtles in a pond that we could see from our condo. Every evening they swam in the indoor pool which was open until 11 p.m. For older children and young adults, there was beach volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, bocce, lighted tennis courts and a total of 6 pools. Across the street from the resort was a miniature golf course where the boys could play all day for one price and not far away was a executive golf course that they enjoyed.

The resort staff were always busy keeping the place neat and clean. On the premises at the water's edge was a cabana bar with live music -- a great place to have a burger and fries after a swim in the ocean.

Great restaurants were close by, as well as the Myrtle Beach Aquarium, Freestyle Amusement Park, Nascar Park, water slides, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Myrtle Beach State Park and nearly 100 major golf courses.
