Nantucket Family Friendly Restaurants
15 South Water StreetNantucket, MA 508-228-8011
Of course the star of this new restaurant is lobster, and you can nosh on it daily for lunch or dinner or even have a lobster dinner packed up to go to take back to your cottage or picnic on a beach.
15 S Beach St.Nantucket, MA 508-325-4001
Although you could enjoy the bistro/sushi bar for a more fine dining dinner experience, instead visit the small to-go stand to grab lunch or dinner to take with you. We don't know what they put into their mouthwatering burgers but they are beyond delicious, as are the truffle oil fries.
7 Old South WharfNantucket, MA 508-825-9866
This popular breakfast spot serves up bagels, muffins, croissants and egg sandwiches to the hungry masses heading to the beach. They all come back for lunches of paninis, salads, pizzas and sandwiches.
1 Straight WharfNantucket, MA 508-228-8886
Located right on one of the town's many wharfs is a casual dining place serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner of, what else, local seafood. Eat outside and watch the sailboats come in, or inside for windowed views of the harbor, while enjoying lobster, chicken, steaks and pasta.
1 Harbor SquareNantucket, MA 508-228-1266
It's hard-to-avoid the Tavern, as a large restaurant located just off the ferry wharf in the heart of town. Although it can become a bit lively at night, the casual eatery is family friendly and offers lunch and dinner. Chowder, hearty sandwiches and more local seafood are the mainstay menu items.
