Water Views and steps to Freedom Tower

by brenth924

This recently renovated Marriott property is extremely convenient for navigating Manhattan downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. The rooms are sleek and modern in style. Mine had excellent views of the Hudson. I'm guessing that there are some rooms that look out on the statue -- no such luck for me, but a great view nonetheless. Service was outstanding. Marriott club members receive $25 credit to spend on room service, starbucks or bar on property as well as a complimentary bottle of wine. West side highway access makes for quick transit to and from LaGuardia (if that existed) and the 9/11 memorial is literally steps from the hotel. Highly recommend.

Excellent service

We stayed here for a wedding in New York. The service at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The bellman were right on top of everything, from getting a taxi for us, to holding doors to bringing luggage to the room and down. There's a Starbucks in the hotel which was perfect for us. The rooms were really nice, and the bathroom was updated and beautiful. I would stay here again anytime. It's a block from the freedom tower too.
