Hard Rock International announced late last year they would purchase the failed Taj Mahal hotel and casino in Atlantic City. Now, the hotelier has announced its details for a completely renovated hotel and casino to open by summer of 2018.

The former Taj Mahal space will undergo a complete $375-million transformation into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. Located on 17 acres along the Atlantic City boardwalk, the property will redesign and completely renovate the guest rooms, suites, lobby and public spaces, dining concepts, gaming areas, and spa.

“From world-renowned music events to innovative dining concepts, we’re excited to bring the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino experience to the Atlantic City boardwalk,” said Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International.
