Family-friendly Hotel Commonwealth is expanding its offerings with the addition of 96 new guest rooms and three new suites, including a designated Fenway Park Suite, overlooking the Green Monster.

The Kenmore Square hotel in Boston is steps away from Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Opening in 2003, it quickly became a family favorite due to its location, oversized guest rooms, and its renowned dining. Completing a $50-million renovation this month, the hotel has added new rooms, redesigned its lobby and expanded its function space, including the additional of 2,000 square feet of outdoor space overlooking Fenway Park.

The 96 new guest rooms incorporate a contemporary design with modern bathrooms featuring walk-in showers and barn doors. It’s rooms begin at 470 square feet, and provide flat-screen TVs, two queens or one king bed, and windows overlooking Fenway Park. Three new suites, also facing Fenway, feature balconies.
