Norwegian Cruise Line recently revealed details and photos of its newest ship, Norwegian Escape… and they’re all about families.

Water Features
The ship features an aqua park with four multi-story slides, one of them called Aqua Racer, which allows riders (who sit in tubes) to race their way to the bottom, side by side, twist by turn. There’s also a separate kids’ aqua park with an enclosed tube slide, climbing structure and spray features — cannons, elevated buckets, and more. Of course, there’s two swimming pools and four hot tubs for families to enjoy together, too.

Norwegian Escape also offers a ropes course, two planks and five sky trails, which allow guests to soar through the air — at sea (talk about an adrenaline rush). There’s also a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mini-golf course.

Norwegian Escape will offer the line’s first nursery for children six months to three years of age, part of the Guppies program. It will include a colorful, interactive area for playtime and a separate room for nap time. Bigger kids will enjoy the line’s Splash Academy with an enhanced circus feature that includes additional skills classes. Entourage will be available for teens, as well, in a sleek space that includes a night club.

A slew of events will be hosted at sea, including Nickelodeon Pajama Jam Breakfast, Dora’s Dance Party and Story Time with Dora. Additionally, youngsters will have a chance to meet SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star.

Norwegian Escape, the line’s biggest ship to date, will sail to the Eastern Caribbean; it’s scheduled to set sail from Miami on Nov. 14, 2015.
