San Francisco’s Union Square is now home to a new hotel, housed in a historic building erected in 1928. Following a multi-million-dollar renovation of the building, the Tilden Hotel opened just steps from the square.

The Tilden Hotel features 118 guest rooms with a residential, minimalist feel. The boutique property offers complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms featuring two double beds, queens, kings and junior suites with king beds and queen sofa beds. Rooms are outfitted with iHome docking stations, 42-inch flat-screen TVs, mini fridges and in-room coffee and tea.

Onsite dining has not yet opened at the hotel, but it will welcome a cafe and restaurant, The Douglas Room, soon.
