Resort was beautiful, but the beach was not what I expected the water was dark and it had lots of seaweed in the water and on the sand. The food was okay nothing great I wouldn't concider it 4 star thats for sure it should be listed as 2 1/2 star more +resort. Service was slow very slow we had one waiter that was great the whole 7 days we spent there the rest were extremely slow on service.

The pool was great but there was only one bartender on and when it got busy it was very slow service. in the evenings they had one show and after that it was the same thing every night a DJ in the lobby with latin music and one bar for all guest and 2 bartenders that were extremely busy service was very slow.

No pool in the evenings or games or anything to keep people active and entertained. LOved Mexico Extersions were great Next time I would stay closer to Cancun or Cozomel were the water was beautiful and there is more to do this resort is about 45 minutes away from all the excitment and no buses run that way and the cost is great if your taking a cab and a tour bus only goes for a short time and doesn't run late in the evening.

I would not go back to this resort. Most areas are in open air rooms so No Air Conditioning, 2 restaurants have air and your bedroom. I know it's hot in Mexico but when I eat I want to be in Air Conditioning or do anything active indoors...

We travel to the Caribbean/Mexico 4-5 times a year, our summer trip is considered our kids trip, so we pick a a resort for the kids. Now Sapphire was very clean, the food was o.k.(nothing extraordinary, nothing bad), bar tenders were great, most more +waiters were good, CoCo Cafe staff was awesome, rooms clean and comfortable, spa was good, need more pool waiters(and we do tip), beach ok, there is lot's of seaweed.

Now for the kids club, my 10 yo daughter loves kids clubs, we usually have to bribe her to spend time with us, we have visited Dreams and knew what to expect from the kid's club, the first or second day our daughter went and came back and said she was never ever going back because they yelled at her and her little friend and wouldn't let them play during video game time and told them to find something else to do. My daughter is not timid at all and this not only ruined her vacation but ours as well. She was bored the rest of the trip and wanted to go home. My husband and us were walking back to our room one day and we heard them telling some other children to be quiet, very rudely.(if you are going to work in a kids club you need to have patience!!) Our whole vacation was about the kids club and since our daughter wouldn't go it was terrible!!

On to the entertainment staff, this resort is considered a family resort, so I was terribly offended when the staff one day at the pool dressed up as superwomen, and 2 other things were doing VERY OBSCENE things, that my children witnessed. I would maybe return for an adult vacation NEVER EVER for a a family vacation! We will stick to Dreams for that! They did call once we got home to apologize, but wow damage was already done!! We can't get our weeks vacation back or our children's innocence back!!

We love the Paradisus Riviera Cancun...it has the largest pool and so many family friendly qualities. We upgrade to the Royal Service for Families when we go. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. We love that it is super all inclusive which more +is so nice with little kids. We would order warm milk room service every morning and at night. the rooms were large and beautiful. The kids got turn down milk and cookie service at night and they have kid sized slippers and toiletries. The food is great at every restaurant, and there are always early seatings for families (particularly if you have the upgraded packgage).

We stayed at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun specifically because we were told they had a baby club. I will start the review by saying the club was fantastic. The grounds were gorgeous, and the pool was the largest, freeform pool I have seen in Mexico. more +The service is great too. Attentive, but not smothering, and very caring and helpful.

Our room was beautiful and was taken very good care of. The food in the main restaurant was very good. The specialty restaurants were great too, particularly the Japanese restaurant. That all said, the kid's club was an abomination. There was one MAN manning the club. There was an air conditioned room with a bunch of clean but beat up toys, and a tv on. The one day I thought I'd give it a chance, I went into the club, sat down with my kids, and watched the babysitter man leave the care of the kids there to go to the bathroom or something. It was very discouraging.

We had a great vacation with the kids, but my husband and I never got any down time. You can have your house cleaner come back at night to babysit for a small charge, but I wasn't comfortable with that.
