Ocean City Family Vacations

Ocean City, Maryland is an ideal vacation spot for families. It's located on a barrier island off the Atlantic Ocean, just south of Fenwick Island Delaware and running to the inlet across from Assateague Island State Park, famous for its wild ponies. Ten miles long and less than a half mile wide in most parts, the city is bordered on the west by the Assawoman (no that's not a typo) Bay, and the Isle of Wight Bays.

The main attractions are the beaches and Boardwalk, but venture beyond and you'll find countless options for entertaining the entire family, including half a dozen public parks and playgrounds, tons of kid-friendly dining options, and amusement parks.
