Disabled review

by Ron R

Despite our group disabled led through basement and kitchens to get to dining hall. Told to use service elevator. Food served in lower pit of dining hall -stairs. Why hold it o. A area with stairs. Made it difficult for those disabled. Though staff helped with food. Still no reason not to doit one level so all could participate equally..plr ty of dining rooms yet no thought given for disabled patrons.

Imposing Character Hotel at Quiet and Scenic City Location

by Michael S

We were accommodated in one of the huge rooms/suites in the primary hotel block. These are numbered 1 through 4. The rooms are huge. Our bathroom also offered a jacuzzi which was a most welcome treat. Only minor negative was the in-room lighting which was somewhat low.
The hotel oozes with old traditional character and there are a few river side trail walks nearby.
A good base if you are planning to visit Toronto city but want to avoid a hotel in the city centre. Old Mill metro station is some 300 metres away and there is ample free parking offered by the hotel.
Toronto is famous for Jazz and we were fortunate to sit in on a jazz set at the hotel bar. Not sure - but the act schedules may be posted on the Old Mill hotel website?
We loved our short stay at the Old Mill and would certainly consider returning if visiting Toronto again.
