Overview

Omni Puerto Aventuras is nestled on the Caribbean coastline in the heart of Riviera Maya. The intimate resort holds only 30 rooms with a private Jacuzzi and hammock on each balcony or patio. Rooms present an airy decor with light woods and plenty of space to stretch out. Plush bedding and flat-screen televisions are a couple highlights of the rooms. The size of the hotel allows the service to be that much more specialized. Complimentary Continental breakfasts are delivered to your room daily. Parents are provided with childproofing items for the rooms, such as outlet covers and nightlights. Pets are also welcome for a fee. Upon arrival, kids are given welcome gifts, like games and books. A list of family-friendly activities and attractions in Puerto Aventuras is also provided for families.

La Veranda is a casual, open-air restaurant at the hotel. It serves International cuisine and local dishes for breakfast and lunch. El Xenote is a Mexican restaurant that specializes in Yucatecan cuisine, made with the freshest local ingredients. On the beach sits a beach bar that offers snack and beverages. Two connecting pools and a children’s pool are at the resort. With the beach onsite, guests can snorkel the reefs or go sailing. A 9-hole golf course is also within the gated community.

Siblings trip

by darlenem488

We had a wonderful time at the Omni. There were 8 of us on a siblings trip and the location could not have been better. The hotel is small, so it was very easy to navigate. The common areas are very nice with lots spaces for groups to gather. We were there in September so it wasn't very crowded but didn't seem dead like some resorts do in off season, (restaurants ect.closed). All bars and the restaurant were fully staffed and service was very good. It wasn't always fast, remember you are in Mexico, just sit back and enjoy. The continental breakfast is just fruit and rolls, but you can have a full cooked to order breakfast for a few pesos more. The beach bar was a fun place to hang and the bar staff made it fun with good interaction. And the view was wonderful.

The rooms a very comfortable and the air conditioning was very good. The beds in my opinion were fantastic, but I perfer a firm bed. Rooms had everything you needed for a comfortable stay but be aware there is a charge if you use the coffe maker in your room. In fact you have to sign for all food and drinks during your stay if you don't pay each time. That worried us a bit, but we didn't have any problems with any over charges. We didn't eat there very much as the location was so convenient to many restaurants in town. Just a short walk away. But any food we had was good and the drinks were really good. I am a margarita snob and I had some really good ones with fresh squeezed lime and top shelf tequila with no up charge.

I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel and the town of Puerto Aventuras. My brother in law coul not stop talking about how fun the area is, as there are so many restaurants and things to do all right conveniently located. No car needed.
I added a few photos, not a great photographer but you can get the gist.

Great property!

Food and drinks were great. Bed on the form side for us but still good. Great pillows. Puerto Aventuras is a great, gated community. Very safe and secure. Beautiful beach area at the Omni. Snorkel right off shore. Great sand. Beach has come back after last few years. Staff great. Helpful and friendly. Very relaxing trip.
